ORGANIC OLIVIA
________________________

How many health troubles have surfaced in this world, solely from us FIGHTING ourselves? How many times have we scolded our bodies for growing in the shape they so choose? What does that do to our cells— our immune system? How often do we chose unhealthy habits to numb ourselves from the daunting task of loving ourselves enough to change?

How hard have YOU been on yourself lately?
I have spoken to women of all ages, from all walks of life. The more I meet, the more I realize how much we ALL struggle with the same thing. SELF LOVE. Speaking to ourselves with respect. Lending ourselves the same kind words we so quickly give out to another.

When we dodge the mirror so that we don’t have to face our flaws, it sends the message that we’d rather the person staring back at us wouldn’t exist. When we feel sad and unworthy, our organs, which are filled with receptor sites, receive messages from the brain and can also become glum & impaired. When we feel happy, our organs also respond in kind. We store emotions and stress in our organs, muscles, and connective tissue. Over time, those thoughts and feelings become embodied. “A physical condition is an indicator of a chronic thought.”

The most radical thing you can do for your health TODAY is to reconnect with the person and body you’ve been avoiding. Figure out all the things you do to detach - even something as simple as wearing all black clothing to feel less seen by the world. SEE YOURSELF. Physically HOLD your body in your hands. Massage it in a hot bath like you would a lover. Do things that force you to touch, respect, and fully acknowledge the vessel you’re in. You WILL see your body begin to respond and change, the same way children flourish better when they’re encouraged for their gifts rather than punished for their shortcomings. The child in you is waiting for someone to accept them exactly as they are - and when you do, your potential is unimaginable.
